A tricky opening par 3, with out of bounds to the right and long and trees on the left

With out of bounds on the right, the line here is the left half of the green.

A slight Dogleg left.

The trees on the corner of the dog-leg can block your second shot to the green,so keep your tee shot down the right half of the fairway.

Teeing up and hitting through a tree line corridor.

Your second can be blocked by the trees on the right hand side of the fairway, so keep your tee shot down the left.

A dog-leg right where big hitters can take on the corner, for the rest of us keep your ball down the left to open up the green as much as possible.

Just left of the bomb hole is a good line, any further right runs the risk of the slope in the fairway taking your ball away into the trees. Your second shot is uphill to an elevated green, so one more club should be taken.

A lovely short hole, a well struck shot will be needed to stop the ball on the green. Try to get your ball on the same tier as the flag as the step in the green will make putting difficult.

The line of the tee shot is just right of the middle of the fairway as the slope takes the ball away to the left, the approach is uphill so one more club is needed to avoid the guarding bunkers.

This par 5 is reachable in two for the big hitters, however the green has a narrow entrance and often a lay-up and a good pitch will improve your chances of a birdie.

A long par 3 to finish the front nine, the view off the tee is deceiving as there is hidden ground from the top of the ridge to the green. The bounce is often to the left so the right side of the green is a good line.

A short but tricky hole, try to leave your tee shot just short of the poplar tree, this will leave you a full pitch to an elevated green.

Another lovely par 3 which is well- guarded by bunkers at the front, so take plenty of club as you would rather be long than short.

With a carry of 218 yards from the white tees big hitters can take on the fairway bunker, which leaves the possibility of getting up in two. However the majority of players should lay-up leaving a second shot towards the fairway bunkers and a comfortable shot to the green.

A long hole, where the fairway bunkers 70 yards short of the green can easily catch the second shot, so consider a lay-up to the 100 yard area leaving a nice approach shot.

A narrow hole which does open up the further down the fairway you go, however, hitting the fairway is crucial to making this hole stress free!

Middle to left is the line of the tee as the tendency is for the ball to bounce to the right, the green is very small from side to side and aiming for the middle is always a good choice.

A tough par 3 for the men, for many it is sensible playing this hole as a par 4 as the ladies do. A tee shot down to the base of the hill, leaving a pitch shot to the elevated green.

The line is up the right half of the fairway, leaving the best approach to this undulating green.

Most players will lay up short of the cross bunkers at 200 yards, and play a short iron to the green. Long hitters can take on the green to set up the possibility of an eagle, although they run the risk of finding the trees to the right, or worse still, out of bounds on the left.
